Our driver and tour guide Joao really made this trip so great. The scenery of course was stunning, however it was his knowledge of the site and the history of Portugal and being able to connect it to other world-wide events and history that made it most interesting for us. Highly recommend!

This was my husband's / my first time in Portugal and our guide was fantastic. Sintra, Cascais & Estoril are truly beautiful and well worth the day we spent touring them. The Guide picked us up on time in a clean, comfortable vehicle. He spoke fluent English and communication was clear and easy. Since this was a private tour, we were able to have input into where we visited and the pace of the tour, but we relied heavily on Guide's advice and were not disappointed. He also recommended a terrific restaurant for lunch (tapas) that was off the beaten path - food was delicious and the atmosphere fun. I wish we could clone the Guide as a tour guide for all our trips; we travel frequently and he is among the top 2 or 3 guides we've had.

It was our guide/driver who made this trip such a success. He is very knowledgeable and imparts the info in an interesting way. We spent a lovely day with him and enjoyed every minute. The choice of lunch venue in Cascais also was excellent - although not pretty, the restaurant served authentic, delicious food and on Sunday was filled with Portuguese people.

Definitely a must book tour when you're in Portugal! Had a really great experience with our private tour.

We have been in Portugal for almost 6 days travelling and visiting many sites, locations, attractions and experiences. But without any hesitation or second thought, I can say the best attraction, the best experience so far was this man (tour guide) from Selection Tours. The tour we selected was the Best of Lisbon tour and the guide took us through this with utmost dedication and perfection. He is well versed in English, has a great deal of knowledge about the history of Portugal and Europe. Well mannered, well spoken, we have utmost respect for this tour specialist. He also take great pictures, so pretty much he is an all rounder. Coming to the Selection Tours, we found them very professional, prompt, timely and understanding. The tour design is also such that it gives so many insights and at the same time very enjoyable. It is a pity that we could only do a one day tour with them. So my recommendation to the travelers to Lisbon is that they should look into the Selection Tours whole range of offers and select maximum number of tours while you are there in Lisbon.

P.S As this is a luxury tour, the maximum group they normally accommodate is not more than 15 people at a time to give individual attentions.
